Service Description
☕️ If you drink steeped tea, you'll love this set that includes a mug, steeper and spoon rest. In this beginner-friendly, two-session class, you’ll handbuild your very own steeped tea set using simple slab-building techniques. Cheryl will guide you step-by-step as you create your own design using our many rolling pins or stamps. You can match the steeper, or make it it's own design. In the second session, you’ll return to glaze your pieces - choosing colours that bring your tea set to life. No experience needed. Just show up, relax, play with clay, and leave with a handmade mug set that you'll be proud of. Cheryl will guide you step-by-step through the process, using our tools, forms and glaze. ✨ What’s Included? ✔️ Step-by-step instruction – Perfect for all skill levels, Cheryl will help you create a piece you will be proud of. ✔️ All materials provided – We supply premium clay, tools and forms, as well as the glaze, to bring your vision to life. ✔️ Personalization options – Each design is your own. We can’t wait to see your creativity! ✔️ Kiln-firing included – We’ll dry and fire your piece (twice) so it’s ready to last for years to come. ✅ Spots are limited! Our standard mug will hold 16 oz of liquid but smaller options are available.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy - If you cancel less than one week prior to the workshop, you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee. If you cancel less than 72 hours prior to the workshop, you will be refunded 25% of your registration fee. Less than 72 hours notice will provide no refund. All cancellations have an administrative fee of 5% of your registration fee regardless of the notice period. Rescheduling - We will do our best to fit you into a similar class, but if the piece is not the same that may not be possible. As there are only two workshops in a session, you should be able to ensure that you can attend both. If it happens that you must miss one, please contact Cheryl at cheryl@clayfulpotters.com to try to make alternative arrangements. If we reschedule to a private session, there may be an additional fee.
