🥣 Create a unique set of three mini dishes—perfect for snacks, jewelry, spices, candles, or simply adding a handmade touch to your home. In this beginner-friendly, two-session workshop, you’ll design and handbuild a coordinated trio using simple techniques and forms. Choose your shapes (round, oval, square, hexagon, triangle) and add textures, to make each dish unique, or leave it plain and let the glaze do the talking. During your second visit, we'll be glazing with underglazes using a specific technique that involves shaving cream. Yep, I said shaving cream! This is the only glaze option available for this class to create this effect, but there will be a few colour combinations you can choose from. This method requires 3 kiln firings to get the final pieces. Cheryl will complete the final clear glaze. No experience needed. Just come ready to explore, experiment, and create a sweet little set you’ll love for years. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy - If you cancel less than one week prior to the workshop, you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee. If you cancel less than 72 hours prior to the workshop, you will be refunded 25% of your registration fee. Less than 72 hours notice will provide no refund. All cancellations have an administrative fee of 5% of your registration fee regardless of the notice period. Rescheduling - We will do our best to fit you into a similar class, but if the piece is not the same that may not be possible. As there are only two workshops in a session, you should be able to ensure that you can attend both. If it happens that you must miss one, please contact Cheryl at cheryl@clayfulpotters.com to try to make alternative arrangements. If we reschedule to a private session, there may be an additional fee.
