Service Description
☕️ This beautiful mug is made using two very specific glazes in order to create the oil spot effect. The photo shows the effect using Amaco Ancient Copper and Amaco Snow. If you choose, instead of Ancient Copper you may use Amaco Storm (dark blue), or Amaco Rainforest (dark green). You must use Amaco Snow as the overlap of Snow and one of the above glazes is what creates the oil spot effect. In this beginner-friendly, handbuilding workshop, you'll make a bellied mug out of white clay. Then in 3 weeks, you’ll come back to glaze it with one of the options listed above. These are the only glaze options available for this class. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy - If you cancel less than one week prior to the workshop, you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee. If you cancel less than 72 hours prior to the workshop, you will be refunded 25% of your registration fee. Less than 72 hours notice will provide no refund. All cancellations have an administrative fee of 5% of your registration fee regardless of the notice period. Rescheduling - We will do our best to fit you into a similar class, but if the piece is not the same that may not be possible. As there are only two workshops in a session, you should be able to ensure that you can attend both. If it happens that you must miss one, please contact Cheryl at cheryl@clayfulpotters.com to try to make alternative arrangements. If we reschedule to a private session, there may be an additional fee.
